Hello,

Im trying to embed a midi file to my presentation, but when i opened in
another computer it doesnt work. I tried

1. Increasing file size limit in Tools->Options->General, but it still
doesnt work.
2. Unfortunately I dont have a Midi to WAV converter tool and free ones
available in the internet all come with a limitation on file size
3. Pack & Go is not ideal as Im planning to email the PPT to some people who
may not be "compu-literate" enough to run the ppt show.

Is there any other alternative?

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, MIDI files are never embedded. Only WAV files are
embedded. You can try PFC Express for mailing your file. That might help.
You can find it at: http://www.playsforcertain.com/

Hi Joseph,

There is a free program which will allow you to "convert" an .MP3 to .WAV
with *no* increase in file size.  It doesn't really convert but it works!  I
haven't tried using it to convert .midi's but you might find it useful to
have around.  It's free.

Good luck.
