I am trying to set default text in powerpoint not to show with a shadow.   I
have tried everything I can think of.  As soon as I use the text box item,
and type, anything I type comes in with a shadow.  I have tried right
clicking and setting as default, but this doesnt work.   Please help!

Did you remove the shadow before setting as default?
Which version of PowerPoint?
