I am trying to link a Powerpoint slide to a tab in an Excel file.  After
copying the range in Excel, I paste link the range as a Microsoft Excel
Worksheet Object in the Powerpoint slide.  The problem is that not all of the
range is visible on the slide. The range is rather large in size, however I
don't believe that this should be an issue, as my understanding is that the
link would reflect what is pasted and reformat the size of the object to fit
the slide.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Nope, PPT has a limit on what it can paste. See
www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00068.htm for more details.
