I have prepared a presentation and want to put three slides on a page with
text lines on the side. I want to print this for my own reference. I don't
know how to  start. Please help!!

In the Printer dialog box, change the Print What drop down from Slides to
Handouts.  Then change the number of handouts per page to 3.  You'll get just
what you're looking for.
