I have received a .pps file with a shockwave flash object embedded in it.

I wish to extract this flash file and save it to my desktop but when I drag
and drop it, it is exported as a Scrapbook file.

A couple of questions for you:

Since you say you received a PowerPoint with a Flash embedded, did you try
asking the person who sent it for the Flash file?

Have you considered all copyright issues?
