Was on here a few weeks ago because the pdf files I linked to in PowerPoint
worked on my old machine but not my new vista. The pdf reader would flash on
for a split second than go away.

I was able to find out that the problem was not with the ppt viewer or Vista
but with Acrobat Reader. There is a known bug in version 7.0 only. This bug
would not let PowerPoint open using hyperlinks. The bug was fixed in the very
next update 7.09 or something like that and still works in 8.1.

Everything works fine and dandy just wanted to post this info in case anyone
comes looking for this again.

Thanks for letting us know, Tony. I'm sure that will help others in future.
