dont wish to use PFC option in Powerpoint and want to know why the insert
object option in Powerpoint 2007 has been disabled?

Click on the Insert tab, Object is located in the section labeled text, next
to media clips.

There is no longer an option to insert Windows Media Player once the Insert
Object option has been selected. This was the case for Powerpoint 2003 and
allowed one to play any video clip that media player could handle and it also
allowed the presenter to have video controls. Can one still access this
option??

Many thanks

Mark

Sorry, meant to also include this info.

This one is for a Flash Player but the steps are the same, just choose
Windows Media Player (go to the PowerPoint 2007 section):
