Hi Tom
There is a really easy way if you prep your word doc properly first. You
need to put all your questions into Heading 1 style and all your answers into
Heading 2 style. Save & close the doc, then in PowerPoint Home button -> new
slide -> slides from outline -> navigate to your doc. PowerPoint will create
a new slide everytime it comes across Heading 1 style (a question) and make
anything in Heading 2 style (the answers) a bullet point. Make sense?
Don't forget you can use the format painter to speed up the formatting of
your doc. Or you could make the whole thing Heading 1, then use tab to demote
the relevant stuff to Heading 2 when in outline view in Word.

OOPS!! I spoke too soon. I tried your suggestion, reformatted everything
with heading 1 for questions and heading 2 for answers and then went to new
slide open from outline and it does not create a new slide each time it
finds a change in heading. Any ideas??

Hmmmm. Works fine for me... I just tested in 2007 to be sure
What actually happens? Is it pulling the text across at all? Is it creating
new slides and if so, when?
