Have put together a presentation and gone into many times, printed hard
copies and all ok. Gone into it this morning and the pictures have been
replaced with red crosses (even the ones on the master slides).
What can I do to get them back?

Hi James,

Have a look at this and hopefully it will help. Not a good sign, though.

I agree with Glen - not good news. If you used the presentation somewhat
recently, you may find it in your Recent Files.  File > Open > Recent Files
(in left column).
