Hi there,

Does anyone have a solution for playing back video without the annoying
black blip before the video plays, and how to fade in and out of the video
file?

Thanks!

You would have to include the fading effect within the video clip itself. As
powerpoint cannot fade a video clip

What TAJ has said. Alternately, you can try making use of the slide
transition instead. Click Slide Show > Slide Transition. Select Fade Smoothly.
