Hi. I have Office 2007 Enterprise installed on my PC - do I need PowerPoint
Viewer 2007 installed as well or not? Because if not, I could uninstall it.

Do you need the Viewer in order to do what?

I would leave it in place, you can't use Pack and Go without it.

well, see, i have PowerPoint 2007 installed, and I have the viewer installed.

Basically, can the viewer by itself do anything that PowerPoint 2007 itself
cannot do?

No, but if you want to create a CD for someone else that doesn't have
PowerPoint, you'd want to include the viewer.

If you're absolutely certain you won't need to do this and you're really really
hurting for disk space, you could consider removing the viewer.   Otherwise,
I'd let it be.

Or if you need the space, note where its files live, copy them off to someplace
safe (backup CD or the like) and delete them from your HDD.   That way you can
copy them back if you need them.
