I did a PP at school on Office 2007 and when I did that I was told that there
was a download to convert 2007 to a 2003 program. I did the download and it
didn't seem to help. It says that the text hasn't been converted and I need
this to work!
If you know what I can do please help me!!!!!
Thanks

You may need to make completely compatibility with PowerPoint 2007 with some
alternative way to get alright, such as make a conversion.

You shouldn't have to download anything onto the PPT 2007 computer. Just use
Office Button | Save As and choose PPT 97-2003 Presentation. This saves your
file as an "old style" PPT file that PPT 97 through 2003 can open.
Probably what you read about was the compatibility pack. You can install
this on Office 2002 (aka Office XP) and Office 2003 computers. This allows
those computers to open the PPT 2007 (PPTX) format files.
Sometimes when you install the compat pack, it still won't open PPTX files.
This means you also need to install all "critical" Windows updates. The
compat pack won't work without them. Here's a link to the compat pack.

But I think you'll be better off if you just save the file as 97-2003 (PPT)
format.
