When I attempt to edit a text  box PPT 2007 the text appears above / outside
the text box and the cursor below the text inside the text box. If I back
space the text deletes even though it is not on the same line.
Any ideas on how I can get the cirsor to line up with the text when I click
on the text box ?
I have opened many different presenations and restarted PC many times but no
luck, this issue is occuring on all text boxes in all presenations,

It may sound strange, but do you have a local standard printer installed on
this computer? You do not need to have a printer physically connected,
installing a printer driver should be enough.

Thanks Ute,

I have many printer drivers installed, but I recently changed my default
printer.
I just changed it back to the original default printer and it fixed the
problem.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Daryn

Hi Daryn,

glad it helped. And thanks for your reply. As we see similar problems quite
often during the last months, it is valuable information, that changing the
printer driver can indeed help in most cases. Could you please post back,
which printer driver/model did the trick for you?

Thanks and best regards,
Ute
