This can be difficult to get your head around.... but a good 95% (made up
figure) of printers do not print white.
They have no white ink - only black and color.
They rely on the 'white' being on the media you are printing on.
There are some specialist printers that do print white - but very rare.
Perhaps try putting a simple black outline around your white text (or a nice
drop shadow)
