Hello there

I was given a company powerpoint template. I tried editing the template in
master view and changed the font to Times New Roman. However, for some
reason, when I type into the template the font looks fine, but then suddenly
it goes big and is out of alignment. Can you help solve this problem. Not
sure if I saved the template with my settings correctly. Thanks

It does this while you're typing?

Can you describe what you mean by "out of alignment"?

Which version of PowerPoint?
