fit picture in placeholder

We have 2 computers (Window XP & Office 2003) running in our School. One of
them let us insert a picture and auto fit to the size of the picture
placeholder but the other just cover the whole screen. Please let us know how
to fix this problem.

Have a look at Tools, AutoCorrect Options, the AutoFormat as you Type tab.

I'm betting one computer has a check next to "Automatic layout for inserted
objects" and the other doesn't.
