Hi John,
thanks for your reply.
I mean that i have 15 slides which have exactly the same grid on them, with
a selection of different logos placed in different locations on each slide.
All slides have exactly the same logos (they are the same size), just placed
in different areas of the grid on each slide.
Essentially what i want to produce is just one 'summary' slide, which has
one copy of each logo placed on the summary grid- the location of the logos
needs to be worked out from the 15 other slides (i.e the average position of
each of the logos from the 15 slides is calculated and then each individual
logo is placed once on the 'summary' slide).
Hope that makes more sense?
Many thanks,
Rodney

I belive that the hardest part of creating a macro to do this is to find
a way to identify each logo. That is, how will you know (programatically)
which logo is which? If you have an easy way to identify the logos, then
the rest shouldn't be difficult at all.

Hi Rodney,
Let me restate this; tell me if I've got it right.
You want to look at each slide, locate the position of Logo_A, average the
positions found on each slide and use that as the position of the logo on the
summary slide. Then repeat for each add'l logo.
So for example, if you find Logo_A at
Slide 1: Top 100, Left 100
Slide 2: Top 200, Left 300
you'd want to position Logo_A on Summary Slide at Top 150, Left 200.
If that about describes it, it should be quite possible *if* there's some way of
distinguishing each logo from the other shapes on the slide.
For example, you could name or "tag" them manually.
