I am working on a P.P. presentation and all of a sudden at the bottom of my
computer screen = there is a section that says "Click to write notes here" .
I want to remove this and don't know how. Any suggestions?

Jackie,
In PowerPoint 2003, there is a bar just above the "Notes" section at
the bottom. You can drag that bar to the bottom of the window and it
will be gone. This should work in other versions as well.

The tri-pane view has been the default "normal" view in PowerPoint since 2000.
You probably just never noticed it before. See also:

For 2007, but applicable to earlier version.
