I am creating a Jeopardy game with number boxes on the first slide. The boxes
and linked to questions which are linked to answers and then linked back to
the first slide. But I can't keep the previous question box from reappearing
when I link back to continue the game. Can anyone offer suggestions?
Why do you link back to the first slide? Why not link back to the slide
with the game board? When you go back to the first slide and then move
forward, all animations are reset. If you move directly to the game board
slide, you will return to the slide in whatever state you left it.

My first slide is the game board slide. Is there a way to seperate it from
the rest of the slides?

If that is the case, then animations shouldn't reset when you hyperlink to
the first slide. How are you making the text boxes "disappear"? Are you
using trigger animations?

If the animation has already appeared once, it will stay if you advance to
that slide again through hyperlinking. If it's not through hyperlink, then
the animation will restart. Custom show will also restart the animation. So
how did you set up the linking?

I am using a template designed by someone else. The first slide has boxes
numbered 1-30. When you click on 1 it takes you to slide 2 with a question.
This is set up with a hyperlink. Slide 2 has two boxes at the bottom. One
hyperlinks to slide 1 and one hyperlinks to slide 31 with the answer. The
answer page then has a box when clicked takes you back to slide 1 and box 1
reappears.
I am going to check if there is custom animation set up for this template.
