Powerpoint will not let me save my work in any mode

i cannot save my project in Powerpoint in any mode nor can i close down
Powerpoint to try re-opening it , Any Ideas??

Try renaming it and then saving.

Which version of PowerPoint do you have?

Are you using a free trial version or a full version that you have not yet
activated?  That might cause this after the test period times out.
