I'm trying to do a custom animation.  When I use "after previous" it does not
work.  I can only get them to animate using "with previous" which is horribly
painful.  What is wrong????  HELP please!! I need this asap

Can you explain what happens when you use "after previous"
If you run a series of "with previous" animations with a delay  do you get
the same effect (Easiest to set this up using the advanced timeline)

Are you trying to run a sound and then start the animations just after you
start the sound instead of after the sound finishes? If so, check this idea
