Duplicate the current image. Crop the new image so that only the part that
you want to blow out remains. Enlarge the blow out. Animate the blow out to
fade in on click.
If you have PowerPoint 2007 or the SoftShadow add-in from pptXTREME (02 -
03)you can add a nice shadow to the blow out.

As Sandy said. I like to crop to a square and resave the cropped image then
draw a circle and use an image fill. This gives a magnifying glass effect

Someone mentioned a Windows magnifier tool to me the other day. I think that
might work (if I knew anything else about it -- like how to turn it on!)
