When opening some of my PPT files in v2003 on my PC that were created on my
Mac (version X I believe) some of the slides are blank. These are mostly but
not all image slides (images were inserted and not referenced). Other slides
are fine. Any suggestions?

The usual culprit for this is that images were copied and pasted into the
slides, rather than Insert > Slides > From File. The way to make it work is
to reinsert the pictures with Insert > Slides > From File.
