This is not in the PowerPoint viewer- here's the problem:

When I open Power Point on my computer it opens to a file we have about
horses and hay.  It won't let me start a new file.

Here’s what I've tried:

1.Tried deleting the file.  Now it comes up with the same presentation and
calls it "Presentation 1.
2.Going straight to the source:
Opened Windows Explorer/Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office 11/double
click POWERPNT.exe
3.Tried this- thought it was possibly some sort of customization that was
done accidentally- http://pptfaq.com/FAQ00404.htm -
4.Sent it to another computer and it opened/closed fine.
5.Checked that it was not PP viewer I was opening.
6.Checked properties on the source and Type of File is Application as it
should be.

Any ideas?

Thanks much~

What happens if you right-click on the file and select new?

Hi there

Is it possible that someone has saved the horses & hay presentation as your
default blank presentation? Or have I just grabbed the wrong end of the
stick? See here for more:

Thanks Sandy :-) I can't believe that a week ago I hadn't met any of you and
now I feel like I've known you all for years.

Lucy

PS I don't rock as much as you ;-)

Hi Lucy~

I'll bet this will fix it- I'll let you know- the computer is remote from me
so I'll have to get with the person and try this~

Thanks so much!
