MS Office Forum / General PowerPoint Questions / November 2007Links with 2007 Compatibility Pack installed
Has anyone been able to view PPTX files linking to other PPTX files on an Office 2003 machine with the 2007 compatibility pack installed? A PPTX file linking to Excel or Word works just fine. However, if I try and open a PPTX with links to other PPTX files, powerpoint eventually displays: "PowerPoint can't be used as a server because a dialog box is open" Any ideas? Have you minimized PowerPoint to see if there is a dialog box open behind PowerPoint?
