VBA - PowerPoint toolbars disappear after a while

Hi,

We have a problem with an add-in we use in PowerPoint. It creates
several toolbars and overwrites some existing buttons. And whenever we
install it, it works fine. But after a few weeks it won't work anymore
on some computers. Toolbars are not longer visible, even if the add-in
is still loaded and it's very difficult to remove the add-in
completely. Unload/load does also not help. To avoid issues with
former versions we put an entry in the registry and check if the
latest version is installed.
I am not sure if this is important, but we don't use an auto-close
event, so that all toolbars are keeping their positions. Any help/
guidance appreciated.

Thanks

Jens

Hi,
Are you checking if the menu items, created by your add-in, are present when
you load the add-in or are you assuming that they will always be there once
created?
