PowerPoint 2003 font changes in entire Slide Show

I am working on a slide show that needs to be reformatted for another theater
with different projection demands. I need to reduce the font size from 40 to
20 in all slides in four different files (one for each act of an opera). Is
there any simple way of doilng this? I'm goint nuts changing each one
individually and it's taking a tremendous amount of time, which is rapidly
running out.

Any suggestions? Please help!! Thanks

IF (maybe a big IF) the presentations were made so that the fonts followed
the master scheme AND the text is in placeholders then if you goto View >
Slide Master and change the font size there all others will change.

If not then vba is the only way I know.

Hi, John, and thanks.

The big "IF" is accurate. No "master" was utilized as I am a novice and in
a hurry. But I just find it weird and, to my logic, it simply doesn't follow
that a Microsoft product like PowerPoint doesn't behave at least somewhat
like its flagship cousin, Word. You can't "select all" and apply a font
change? What were they thinking? It seems such a simple, sound concept.

At the first theater I could throw the presentation at the proscenium in
font size 40 and no problem. Now I have to hit a small board at the new
theater and everything has to shrink down, even having to modify the text box
edges. It's VERY cumbersome, the show is tonight and I'm not even close.
Yee-ha!

Dear John:

Again, thanks for your help. I figured out what "vba" is and have run the
macro on two of the projects successfully.

Now, however, I'm stuck on a third which refuses to run the macro. I've
gone through the song and dance of creating a personal digital certificate,
given permission, changed security levels, virtually everything that this
@#$!% program can suggest . . . all to no avail. The "run" button remains
grayed out. Tempus fuget. Any suggestions? THANKS!! =o)
