How can I stop my presentation from going automatically to edit vi

About every 5-10 minutes, my presentation flips back into the edit screen
automatically. How do I keep that from happening?

What version do you have?

maybe in 2002/3 try Help > Detect and Repair In 2007 it's a little different

Are you using Vista? Turn off all programs that run in the background,
especially Outlook and Anti-Virus-Programs.

is it a monitor power save mode? or a screen saver setting?
