Grumpy,
Powerpoint will only embed .wav files and not .mp3 files or .wma files.
If you do some jiggery pokery you can fool powerpoint into embedding mp3
files

Take note that only wav format can be embedded. If you are using mp3, you
will need to convert it using audio convertor such as Cdex (
http://cdexos.sourceforge.net ).
Also, make sure that you re-insert the sound files after setting the value
to "Link sounds with file size greater than" to 50000 kb.
