show preview but when i click on each slide the heading text is missing and
when i run the slide show it is missing as well. how do i fix this?
Hi
What version are you using? I'm going to guess 2007 and suggest installing a
local printer driver (you don't need an actual printer) & making it your
default:

Lucy is wise. Even if this solution appears to make no sense to you, do it
first before asking why it might work.
The answer is that PowerPoint uses the printer drivers to render some things
for it. If the driver is missing, then so might those things be.
