Power Point Bullets Randomly Change

I have changed the bullets in my powerpoint presentation to one in the
custom category.  When I save the file everything looks good.  Once I
re-open the saved file a few of the bullets in a select number of
slides revert back to the default bullet.  I can change them back to
the custom and save and the same ones revert back once I open again.
I have tried saving as a new name and completely deleting those slides
and re-typing them and the problem still pops up.  There are slides
with and without pictures - so I am baffled!

Please Help - Any thoughts??

Did you look at the kb article John posted a link to? And try his
suggestions - they sounded pretty good to me :-)

See if this helps

You might try changing the bullets on a master and apply that to slides as
needed

or

Cut the affected placeholder, delete any blank placeholders that appear and
paste the original back in.
