Hi All,
Not a PPT wizard by any means, I have a template that i use pretty often
with about 40 slides and there is one image on each slide and some text etc.
I usually drag and drop the images directly onto each slide, they are
already resized to be the right size, but then i have to manually move them
around on every slide so that they end up in the same place on each slide.

Is there someway of making the image (which is different for each clide, but
exactly the same size and shape in pixels) go to the same position on every
slide?  If there some kind of placeholder, or image box i can create so i
can throw the image straight in there without needing to fool around with it
so much?

Please help save my sanity (and my arrow keys!)

Shaun

Hi Shaun

You don't mention the version of PPT you have (always a good idea)

I'm assuming pre 2007

Try selecting Format > Slide Layout and choose a layout that includes
"content" and is closest to what you need. Adapt it to suit and then use
insert > duplicate slide to make some copies.

Add your pic to the content placeholder by clicking on the picture icon

Does that work?

Shaun,
What John said, but also consider using this add-in which will assist and
simplify the process.
