Please help someone...
I am about ready to throw my computer out the door.  I have been tasked to
refine an existing powerpoint line chart that was created by someone else.
Basically management wants to see critical dates for each quarter starting
from q4 of 2006 to current.  Problem is that the data that is in the
datasheet is manually entered, and the primary x axis is on automatic and not
on timescale.  I have tried a couple different things hiding a couple of
dates and then playing with the scale alternating between intervals of 4 and
5. But the kicker is that the calendar year we use is different from the
regular calendar year.  For example in quarter 1 January has 5 weeks.  It
starts on Jan. 1 and ends on feb 2. Feb will start on 2/3 and end on 3/2. So
Feb. is 4 weeks. Mar will start on 3/3 and end on 3/31. So Mar is 4 weeks
also. Is there a way I on my existing line chart, where I can plot only the
begining of each month a middle point in the month and the last day of the
month for 1 quarter? If I hide the data, the dates will not show those
critical dates that I need. This thing is so wierd.
Please help anyone???
