Can action buttons and hyperlinks be used in Presenter View

Using PowerPoint 2003 - wehn using Presenter view the action buttons and
hyperlinks don't seem to work???

Does anyone know a way around this?

Are you clicking them in presenter view, or are you clicking them on the
slides themselves? I don't use presenter view very often, but I'm pretty
sure you need to move your mouse over to the actual slide and click the
links and buttons there.
