PPT 2003 - a PowerPoint slide has increased to 13MB. It contains lots of
embedded objects. Doing File/Save-As and the size reduces to 0.5MB.

What gives?

Thanks, Rob.

Have a look at Tools - Options - Save and de-activate the "Fast Save". It is
a leftover of old PowerPoint versions and saves no time but produces large
files.

Best regards,
Ute
