I have attached a wav sound to a ppt slide(2000). When I email the slide the
wav will not play when the email is opened. I have changed "link sounds with
file size greater than..." to 50000. HELP!

Did you change the settings BEFORE you inserted the sound? Sounds inserted
before will still be linked.

Before or after inserting the sound?  After is too late .. the sound is already
linked.  If that's the problem, delete the sound, make sure the setting's still
at 50000 then reinsert the sound.

This assumes the sound is a WAV file.  If not, it can't be embedded (unless you
use a program like CDEX to make PPT think it's a WAV)

You might want to give PFCExpess (a free add-in to PowerPoint) a try.  It
was made for this very issue.
