Carmen,
You are sending directly from PowerPoint, using the office-button, send,
e-mail?
Then you will always have the ribbon active. You could right click on the
ribbon and choose minimize ribbon. But I guess you would have to do that
every time you sent an e-mail. Basically you are using Outlook, so
PowerPoint shows the Outlook ribbon to allow you to send the file as you
would normally do.
