I recently installed a new true type font, and it works perfectly in all the
programs I have tried it in with the exception of PP2003.  The font is listed
in the drop-down list, but its name is spelled out in Arial followed by a
bunch of unrecognized character boxes.  Any text assigned to use this font is
displayed as boxes.  Both powerpoint and the computer have been restarted
several times with no change.  Any ideas?

What's the name of the font?

And perhaps more important (even though SOUNDS flat-out weird), do you have a
local (ie, not network) printer driver installed and set as default?
