In a presentation created by someone else (not me), I went through it, made
changes, and then closed the file. When I reopened the file, formatting had
changed in the text boxes on the slides.

One text box at the bottom of the slide carries a disclaimer, which is in
10-point type. The 'main' box that takes up the most area in the slide ranges
has text from 20-32 points, with bulleting in places. When I reopened the
file - and of course after I sent it to a higher-up to look at - the box on
the bottom of the slide had the larger type in it, as if it was the 'main'
text box. The text in the 'main' box was nearly all 10 points.

I went back through the file and reformatted everything, then opened and
closed it a few dozen times to make sure nothing changed, and then sent it
along to the (now miffed) superior.

I'm sure there's a simple cause for this. When this higher-up created the
file, he had selected the "AutoFit Text to Placeholder" option. Does this
have anything to do with it? It doesn't seem like an autofit issue as much as
some sort of formatting link between text boxes.

Any help would be appreciated - just so I dont get egg on my face the next
time.
