Happy Christmas. If there is anyone working today then I wonder if you would
be so kind as to help me. I have sent a friend a Power Point show that I was
hoping he would be able to show his family over Christmas but even though he
has Windows XP on his machine he can't open it. He gets the message that he
needs to associate the show with a program file type. He can't associate it
with PP as he has not got MS Office. However I have friends who have Macs and
they can still open my presentations and obviously haven't got Office.
Ideas please?
Thanks
Charlie
Charlie,
Your friend will need the free PowerPoint viewer, you will find the links
here. Once downloaded and installed he should be able to view the PPT
presentation:

Is the file association still gives him trouble read this:

Merry Christmas to you to. Hope this has helped.

Hi Luc
This will do it. I have copied the procedure from the links and it seems
straight forward and I am sure he will be able to marvel at my show!
Happy Christmas and thanks again.
