How can I edit points on a straight line in 2007 PowerPoint?

In 2003 PowerPoint I could edit points on a straight line segment to draw
whatever I wanted.  How can I do this in 2007 PowerPoint?

Seems you can't anymore. Have not found a workaround yet.

Not anymore, unless you are using freeform tool to draw the straight line
instead.
