I'm using PP 07 & trying to insert a live stream from a webcam,
however there's no WMP avaliable on the insert object list.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have a great new year,

Hi Andy

You must be in the east if it's sunny as it *always* rains in the west
doesn't it? ;-)

You need to turn on the developer tab - office button -> powerpoint options
-> tick show developer tab in the ribbon. Then on the developer tab click
more controls (little crossed hammer & spanner with dots underneath) and
scroll down the list to WMP. How you make that see your webcam is beyond me
(probably something in the URL property), but it sounds like you have that
bit sussed out.

Be aware powerpoint will treat this like code so macro security level must
be medium or below & it won't work in the free viewer. Oh and I think you
have to save as a pptm or something.

Hope that helps

Lucy in Sunny Adelaide :-)
