Happy New Year!

Anyone having trouble playing movies in Powerpoint? The easiest and least
expensive solution is to rename any movie you want to insert in the
presentation to an WMV file. This works with AVI, MPEG, MPG, M1V, MP2 and
perhaps other video and movie files types. For some reason the MPLAYER32
(which is the default player for PowerPoint) understands the Windows Media
Videos (WMV) file name, and has trouble with the other file association
names. This might be just specific to my system, but it works!

sasha,

While its tempting to do this, I promise you it will lead to all sorts of
problems and issues.
