Hi,
I'm new to powerpoint and I have the 2007 version.
I need to do something very basic with animations but can't figure it
out.

On a single slide,
I have 3 text boxes and 3 images, let's call them text1, text2, text3
and fig1, fig2 and fig3

now, all I want to do is to show (text1 and fig1) on my first click,
and then
when i click again, I would like to show text2 and fig2 (and it would
be nice if text1 and fig1 faded out)
and finally, when I click the third time, I would like text3 and fig3
to appear.

How can I do this?

many thanks
LS

Hi Lee,

go to the Animation tab and click on Custom animation, this will open the
Animation Task Pane on the right side. Assign the entrance animations you
like to your objects. If necessary, you can re-order them by dragging them
up or down in the list with your mouse or the green arrows at the bottom.
Assign Start - On mouse-click to the text and  With previous to the figures.

Best regards,
Ute
