How do I replace an object by an other one in a custom animation? Is there a
simple way or do I have to make subsequent diasappear and appear actions?
(PPT2003, XP)
Thanks

There's no direct way to do this. You will need to make use of disappear and
appear effects, then set the appear to start With Previous.
