Adding scripts with a macro?

Hi there!
I have a presentation of over 250 slides, and now I need to insert a script
in all of them.
So, I thought I'd record a macro from inserting the first script, but
somehow this doesn't work.
I started to record the macro, clicked "extra - insert script" , so the
script editor pops up, then I search for the text "<script
src=script.js></script>" and replace it with my script. Then I close the
script editor, and want to stop the recording of the macro.
However, the macro-recording has already stopped by then. When I view the
macro, I see that there is a small piece of text added to the script, but the
search/replace action is nowhere to be found.
So, obviously this doesn't work as anticipated.... :-(

How can I enter the script in 250+ slides at once?

It might be simpler to let PPT generate the HTML then use a search/replace
program to do the replacements on each of the individual slide files.
