Everything was fine last night when I shut down.....however, this morning
when I opened my powerpoint files (all of them) on my laptop, the fonts
(alphabets) are all collapsed on top of each other.  I have spent the last
one hour trying to do everything I know of to fix it with no luck. I emailed
the file to another computer and opened using ppt 2007 and it works fine on
that computer (exactly as I had saved it). For now I can work on my second
computer, but would like it resolved on my laptop.....Any guidance??

Does your laptop have a printer set as default? If not try setting any
printer (doesn't have to exist!) as the default printer and see if that
helps.

And make sure the printer driver is installed on the laptop, not just on the
network the laptop's connected to...because when it's not connected, then
that driver isn't available....
