Document "Save As"  response - Press the ESC key to cancel saving the
document, it will not let you save the document.  It will also not let you
EXIT  and continues to ask "do you want to save the changes  FILE NAME (auto
saved) response YES and the only way to close the program is to go to Task
Manager.  The file is not saved at all, not on the "C" drive or in Power
Point except for the auto saved. HOW DO I save the file????

What version of PPT are you using, and what file type is selected in the
"Save As Type" box when you go to File | Save As?

I have Power Point 2007 and Vista. Someone suggested it was a large file and
just needed more time to SAVE and that worked!! Thank you.

Glad to hear it. It sounds as though you are saving (in PPT 2007) as a
97-2003 format file, and yes, that can often take a little while.
