New user to PP and created a PP slide show and saved it.  When I open the
saved copy, the PP Help task pane opens when the presentation opens.  How do
I remove or save the PP without the task pane?

When you open reset your toolbar options.  Try View, Toolbars, Customize.  In
the toolbars tab, turn the taskpane off by de-selecting the checkbox.  It
won't come on by default anymore.

Also, to toggle the taskpane quickly, the keyboard shortcut is CTRL+F1.

Hi Lulu

Did you do one of the online training courses & create the presentation from
the practice file? If so I'm not sure how to turn off the behaviour, but I
would try opening a new blank presentation and insert -> slides from file ->
tick 'keep source fromatting' -> insert all. If you are using 2007 click on
the 'new slide' drop down & select 'reuse slides'.

Let us know if that works :-)
