Problems with animation in a slide opened in Powerpoint 2007

I very rarely use animations, but in one of the classes that I teach,
there is a slide that illustrates a sequential process (photographic
workflow) and I do a custom animation on that slide. However, when I
open the presentation in Powerpoint 2007, the first object in the
animation "works", but when I invoke (by hitting the right arrow) the
next item, everything just shows up in one fell swoop. What am I doing
wrong? Thanks!

Go to the particular slide. Click Animation > Custom Animation to open up the
task pane. Those objects that shows up together, check to see if their
"Start" property is set to With Previous. If so, set them to On Click.
